- Assist in the daily operations of the ranch, including but not limited to:
- Feeding and watering livestock - Cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures - Assisting with breeding and birthing processes - Administering medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian - Assisting with general ranch maintenance tasks, such as fence repair and equipment maintenance - Operate heavy equipment, such as tractors and loaders, to perform various tasks on the ranch - Maintain and repair ranch infrastructure, including buildings, fences, and equipment - Perform basic math calculations for tasks such as measuring feed quantities or mixing fertilizers - Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks - Assist with greenhouse and garden maintenance, including planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting - Perform heavy lifting as required for tasks such as moving hay bales or equipment Skills:
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential - Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on equipment - Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in ranch operations - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting - Excellent attention to detail for maintaining animal health and safety protocols - Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the ranch.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
